Intention and Attention

In the universe there is an immeasurable and indescribable force. How can we avail ourselves of this force in our daily lives? At the outset, let us take a look at the spiritual law of intention.

The spiritual law of intention tells us that our intentions are much more powerful than our hopes, wishes and wants.

Our focused intentions release a force that makes things happen. Whatever our aims in life, if we gather our energies and keep our goal in sights, the force of the Universe will support our vision.

Our intention should be taken into consideration when assessing how our karma manifested our present situation in life. We need not to feel as being victims of past experiences. The past cannot be changed, but we can change future outcomes through being intentional. When our intentions are honorable and noble, (even if our plans and ultimate goals do not always come to fruition as we may have hoped) we will be rewarded for the purity of our ideals. It is the ‘intention’ that signals the rightness (or otherwise) of a project or idea.

We need to make certain that our intentions are not just ego based, but are grounded to support the highest good.

We need to be aware, that change is brought about by both, conscious attention and intention.

ATTENTION, we attract that, on which we focus our attention. Attention produces a flow of energy to manifest a desired outcome. We also notice that when we shift our attention away from on object or an idea, the energy dissipates. Every one of us can experience this occurrence. There is nothing magic about this. It is all about awareness.

INTENTION, transforms information and energy into what we want to accomplish,so we need to be aware, that our mind which is part of universal mind attracts the desired outcome of things or events.

INTENTION also lays the groundwork for spontaneous expression of events or desires.

DESIRE, unfulfilled desires generally occur when our intentions are laced with negative ATTACHMENT or AVERSIONS. In the West we refer to attachment/aversions as negative programs, blocks, or beliefs!

INTENT, it is important not to become attached the outcome of the anticipated results.

Intend is for the future, but our intention must be in the present. Meaning that our attention must be focused on the actions we can take today that will manifest intentions for tomorrow!

Only the present, which is conscious awareness, is real and eternal!

Detached Intention will prevent us from struggling against the PRESENT in the pursuit of manifesting our FUTURE!

We must accept the present as it is and intend the future as we would have it be.

Seven steps to consider in manifesting desired outcomes.

1. Go into meditation or stillness and identify with the infinite spirit within.

2. Immediately following meditation, visualize your intentions as being already accomplished.

3. Remember, that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. This will prevent negative believes from entering your mind.

4. Relinquish attachment to the outcome. Stay in the present. The present is the only time we have and the only place where we have creative power!

5. Trust in God and let God manifest your desires. Trust that when things don't seem to go your way there is a reason that is beyond your scope of understanding.

6. Be alert to the surfacing of your unconscious negative beliefs (blocks, attachments/aversions).

For example, if you are affirming to build your business or career, but negative beliefs surface like "I don't know enough about business to succeed!" remember, that when you pray for something it will either manifest or your prayers will bring to the surface the blocks that need to be healed so that you can manifest your desires!

7. God gives you the soil and seed (energy & information) but it's up to you to supply the daily action of working in the fields (Attention) and the faith (Intention) that will grow the harvest (The manifestation of your desires). "Knock and the door shall be opened unto you"

Fully realized beings live by intuition and grace in full surrender in God.
